A study conducted at the federal University of the State of Rio Janeiro, under the leadership of Omar Lupi, demonstrated the slenderizing benefits of caffeine. These study has been published in the Journal of cosmetic dermatology.

A cream containing more of a caffeine percentage was effective in reducing upper and lower thighs borderlines as well as hip measurements. As a product, this area of the body appears thinner in the test subjects. Large thighs and cellulites are every woman’s nightmare and numerous attempts have been explored to search a treatment that effectively tone thighs.

Many cosmetic products and other cures or remedy are available but only a few of them works. Now a cream has been develop and produce that might be effective in slenderizing thighs and hips. Primarily the cream contains 7% of caffeine solution. This cream has been actually tested in a study of 99 female who use and applied the cream twice a day for a month, for at least 30 days. The changes in the female cellulite were measured and recorded with a hand held imaging machine. This type of instrument is able to show microcirculation in fat tissue of a cellulite. Unfortunately, the results is not significant. Test results only show a little change on those female whose hips and thighs were thinner at the end of the experiment. But, the researchers also noted that the time frame of the experiment might not have been suitable to show effectiveness of the caffeine cream in reducing the appearance of cellulite.

The good things is however, the study obviously shows that have been slimming effects after a regular application of the caffeine containing cream. But, the benefits in winning the war against cellulite are still a big question. Researchers conducting the experiments caution that the cream is obviously not a wonder drug it can only help female to look a little bit thinner.
